The Philosophy of Islamic Management in the Universities Based on the Document Islamic University

Management is the most important factor in the continuity of life and the success of organizations, and the managers play a highly significant and decisive role in the development and prosperity of every organization. The Islamic management with the help of belief, virtue, justice, patience, humility, answerability, the feeling of great responsibility and duty towards people, and avoiding autocracy and despotism, could play a very important and decisive role in the success and ongoing growth of important organizations like higher education system. Therefore, the goal of this study is to evaluate the philosophy of Islamic management and the possible ways for its realizations in the universities. Regarding the goal, this research is practical and developmental and methodologically it is descriptive-exploratory. In order to gather the information, the library-documentary method was used. First, evaluating all the texts in Islamic management, a general insight into Islamic management, its philosophy, its quality, its approach in the universities and etc. was provided. Then, in order to study the philosophy of Islamic management and evaluate Islamic management in the higher education and the manner of its realization in the universities we referred to national documents like the Document Islamic University. Evaluating the Document Islamic University, we concentrated on the Islamic management in the higher education. Using the Document Islamic University for Islamic management, seven components were identified which are: underscoring and strengthening the Islamic and Revolutionary values, designing a comprehensive and concordant management system, educating and selecting specialized and committed managers, trusting and allowing latitude to them, paying attention to the professors as role models for the students’ behavior, continuous modification of the monitoring and managerial methods and ongoing evaluation of the scientific and Islamic aspects of the management. After the separate identification of the components, a model was designed which represents the approach of the Islamic management in the universities and higher education centers.
