Abstract

A CT scan, also known as computed tomography scan, makes use of computer-processed combinations of many X-ray measurements taken from different angles to produce cross-sectional (tomographic) images (virtual "slices") of specific areas of a scanned object, allowing the user to see inside the object without cutting. CT produces data that can be manipulated in order to demonstrate various bodily structures based on their ability to absorb the X-ray beam. The Manufacturer Components Of CT-scan are X-Ray container, Generator, Collimator, Filter and Detector. CT is often used to image complex fractures, especially ones around joints, because of its ability to reconstruct the area of interest in multiple planes. Industrial CT Scanning (industrial computed tomography) is a process which utilizes X-ray equipment to produce 3D representations of components both externally and internally. CT is regarded as a moderate- to high-radiation diagnostic technique.
