Determining optimal location of a landfill in Reverse Logistics using linear programming and goal programming

 One thing that plays a major role in the preservation or destruction of the environment is the landfill sites. The location of the sites for reverse logistic components is important because the transportation of waste from the sites for the components in the reverse logistics is costly. In this paper, using multi-objective mathematical programming with linear programming and goal programming solutions it is aimed to determine the placement of the landfills, with a balance between the interests of the environment, society rights and reduction of cost for organizations dealing with the reverse logistics both with prioritizing the goals and absence of them. So using proposed mathematical programming models landfill sites are determined regarding optimized balance between each of the specified criteria to each other and a reverse logistics viewpoint.
