Administrative Discipline as a predictor of organizational health in schools (Case study: girl high schools of District 1 in Tehran)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational health of schools and Administrative discipline. This study was done with a descriptive survey method of the correlational type. 257 teachers in girl high schools in district 1 in Tehran were selected using a random-cluster method. The data collection was performed using organizational health questionnaire of Tartar and Hoy school (1997) and a research-built administrative discipline questionnaire. To analyze the data, Pearson correlation test and multi-variable regression were used. The results showed that with improvement in on-time presence of teachers at work, intimacy of teachers with together at work, mutual respect of teachers to each other at work, honesty of teachers, full-time presence of teachers at school, organizational health is improved in schools.
