چکیده مقاله
In the recent years, the issue of environment protection gradually attracts more and more attention, with sustainable development becomes the consensus of human beings. However, the serious emission of carbon dioxide is considered as a huge obstruction of this goal, thus various methods of carbon capture and storage turn into one of the research focus. Currently, only traditional absorbents are widely used in industrial applications, and their performance under actual conditions is not satisfied. New researches are focused on mixture of glycols and Alkanolamines . because these mixtures have some benefits in reduction on energy in amine systems. Hence, in this review has studied solubility of CO2 in mixture of Poly(ethylene glycol) 200 and alkanolamine. it recognizable that the best solvent with suitable condition and more solubility for CO2 is mixture of alkanolamines and polyethylene glycols ,especially when it mix with MDEA. Also between polyethylene glycols , Poly(ethylene glycol) 200 is better for mixing and operation .Finally in this work has been shown a thermodynamic model with Henry coefficient by results that have been achieved from previous studies.
