چکیده مقاله
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of forest fire on several essential soil features. Different features like: Acidity (PH), Electrical conductivity (EC), Nitrogen (N), Calcium (Ca), Phosphorus (P), Cation exchange capacity (CEC), Sand(S), Potassium (K), Carbon (C), Clay and Silt. The studied area was a forest located at Dalahoo mountain (west, Iran). Soil samples were collected from 0–5 cm, 5–20 cm depths, and one year after a fire in the burned area and in an adjacent unburned forest area. The Analysis of variance (T-test Paired-Samples) model was used. Significant or non-significant effect of fire on soil elements were evaluated. The same effect did not show at both depths. The fire had a significant effect on the PH, EC, Nitrogen, Carbon, Phosphorus, CEC and Potassium. On the other hand, there was no significant effect of fire on clay, calcium, sand and silt. Graphs showed fire increased the PH, EC, Carbon, Phosphorus, Potassium, Clay and silt. Also Fire reduced the amount of Nitrogen, CEC in second depth and sand.
