The use of force to deal with the nature and climate (earthquakes, landslides)

Safaroud river located that Alborz north slopes in Mazandaran province and it,s one of the big basin of Ramsar township. This basin located that distance of 25km from it,s source (the high heights of javaherdeh) till drainage basin (Caspian sea) with direction of river is east-northen to south-western.Landslide is one of the most important geomorphological phenomenon of Safaroud basin that happening of that cause closed ways, destroying of gardens and vegetation, closing of river ways, land subsidence, destruction residential area of border river and threaten of ecotourist gravity lower area and sometimes to result in heavy losses of human, too. Geomorphological studies of landslide, occurring reasons and determination of landslide danger parts and presentation of suitable ways for prevention of occurring that - with due attention to tourism area-is very importance for planners. In case studying of safaroud basin, recognize 33 landslide and supply the map of landslide hazard zonation with ARC/GIS. Iran geographical position and geology formation, climate, soil, basin,s topography, vegetation and activity human is effective in occurring landslide.
