Coordination between a Wind turbine, a Photovoltaic and a Fuel Cell in a microgid

The main purpose of this paper is to control a hybrid system, including a Photo Voltaic (PV), a Wind Turbine (WT) and a Fuel Cell (FC), which is connected to a grid. Although both solar and wind energy are green and environmental energy, they are naturally discontinuous resources because of their high dependence on weather condition. Therefore, the fuel cell system is utilized to ensure uninterrupted power supply. The output of each source is connected to the boost converter and the PI controller is employed to regulate the switching time of converters to achieve the maximum power point tracking of both WT and PV. Also, the output of Fuel Cell can be controlled by changing the duty cycle of its boost converter when PV and WT cannot supply enough energy for the load. A fuzzy controller is utilized to regulate the generated power by Fuel Cell
