Sediment always a potential source of contamination of water sources are considered. Gavkhooni wetlands in the southeastern province as an aqueous medium that aspect is very important ecosystems, have been constantly exposed to heavy metals pollution. The purpose of this Research, monitoring of lead and cadmium pollution of heavy metals in surface sediments of wetlands Gavkhooni is obtained. 91 sediment samples in the three sectors (North, Central and South) and encouraging the body to 85 years of 3 sections (north, north-depth 5 cm, north depth 10cm, center, center 5cm depth and center 10cm) were collected Gavkhooni wetlands.The results showed that the highest concentration in the region in 91 years (North and Central) wetlands were observed. The concentration of heavy metals in sediment pond to arrange for Pb (Lead) 3/43 and Cd (cadmium) 3/3 in the region of mg/ kg (North and Central) wetland Came . The study evaluated the concentration of heavy metals in sediment samples in all 3 of the wetland as follows: Pb> Cd, respectively.
