Effects of Cognitive abilities and Multi Intelligence in FL Teacher Training(With special reference to translation)

Human beings are social creatures inclined to interactions which can lead to globalism. Globalism or acculturation is the result of effects of different cultures upon each other through various kinds of contacts such as trade, diplomatic relations, tourism, and even war, which unfortunately, the systems of governments and religious bigots and prejudice have made war inevitable. Globalism has been penetrating into the customs, ways of thought and cultures of different peoples and different nations which lead to change and progress. Although people have bigotry against their customs and traits, they are somehow inclined in novelty. And this helps globalism to expand. Naturally, these changes can take place better by translation and interpretation. In the present days, with the advent of science and technology, translation has found a more important value. For this reason more able language instructors are needed for preparing better translators and better interpreters for academic purposes and reducing religious and national bias and differences which in most cases are the result of misunderstandings of not being familiar with other cultures.On the basis of applied ELT, Humanistic Psychology and Human development paradigm we can train “Educational language teachers” who will add to the self-reliance, emotional intelligence, social life skills, etc. in their language learners, in addition to language skills. In this case it has been said that we will have more able and more useful language teachers who can train better and more useful translators.In this paper the writers will try to explain the situation of teaching EFL and give some suggestions for training better language instructors, translators on the basis of modern methods and learning psychology.
