چکیده مقاله
The present research was done to study the effect of communication skills training on self-regulation learning of male students of high schools in Zanjan city. The method of the research was an experimental one based on the pre-test and post-test with a control group. The tools used in this research were the Zimmerman &Mertinez-pons Self-regulation learning Questionnaire (1986) and the UNISEF program for training communication skills. The statistical universe of the research included all of male high school students in Zanjan in the school year 2011-12.The research is based on the multi stages method through which 60 students were chosen randomly and divided into the experimental and control groups. This was based on the UNICEF Training kit within a ten-session course for the experimental group in the form of question-answer and role-play. To analyze the data, the SPSS14 soft-ware and ANCOVA tests were used. The results gained showed that the training of communication skills was effective on improvement of self -regulation learning of students (F=33.7, p<0/001).
