Investigation of relationship between key values of company and investment decisions of listed companies in Tehran Stock Exchange

Efficient financial markets and active financial organizations are indices of
economic growth and development of each country. Since successful of
Tehran Stock Exchange has been considered as an important index to
measure economic development of Iran, its economic and social
consequences can effect on economic and mental balance of society.The
main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between key
values of company and investment decisions of listed companies in Tehran
Stock Exchange during 2007-2011. In this regard, key values of company
were assessed in terms of four general aspects. The first aspect was
economic sustainability of company in which, debt ratio was considered as a
reverse index of economic sustainability. The second aspect was return on
assets and third aspect was profitability. Sales volume of company was
considered as the relevant index to customer satisfaction with company.
According to the findings of study, there was a positive significant
relationship between economic sustainability of company and investment
decisions made by investors, between return rate on assets of company and
investment decisions of investors, between profitability of company and
investment decisions made by investors of Tehran Stock Exchange and
between customer satisfaction and investment decisions of investors in this
market during 2007 to 2011.
