The connection of high quality of health living & the transportation coverage and its impact on urban law crime rates, case study of Tehran, SHOOSH square

Social environment and quality of life are a key factor in creating the crime. Urban styles and existing sub-systems such as transport optimization in communities and cities within the country or in different neighborhoods of the city are indicative of the influence of environmental factors on crime and increase crime. Meanwhile, according to the security of citizens and ways to improve it as one of the main priorities of urban professionals and theorists have assumed. In this paper, by the use of expert opinions the most important factors that underlie a high quality of life accompanied by a comprehensive public transport system obtained. For this purpose, a questionnaire was prepared and randomly were distributed among the inhabitants of SHOSH square, especially those who use the BRT system of line 7. Using data from the questionnaires, interviews and observation, we found that there is a relationship between optimization transportation systems and components of a high quality of life which make them can be reduced the city crime effectively. Finally, job creation, distribution utilities, establishing social support, provide equitable services to citizens, public education and the establishment of an efficient transport system were proposed.
