Mitigating the effects of unbalancing and harmonic with new designed of combining of unbalanced filter with balanced capacitor bank and CSI as Active filter under Non Linear Load and Imbalanced Load

The wide use of nonlinear and imbalanced loads at the high levels in power networks has led to many problems. The most common way of eliminating the harmonic in the power networks is the use of active and passive filters. But the increase of the potentiality of semiconductor devices accompanied with the development of power electronics has improved the use of active filters. In this paper, the MATLAB Simulink approach for combination of CSI as active filter with a new design of unbalanced filter with balanced capacitor bank has been considered for analysis the harmonic and reactive power under unbalanced and nonlinear load.Active filter can be classified as shunt filter and series active filter and hybrid filters. Therefore, there are two main kinds of active filters including VSI(Voltage Source Inverter) and CSI(Current Source Inverter) Also this paper presents the Comparison the effects of imbalanced load with nonlinear load in the circuit and using of CSI as an active power filter for mitigation of harmonics and RLC filter (new design of unbalanced filter with balanced capacitor bank ) for balancing the load and compensation of reactive power.  The RLC filter is designed with the combination of imbalanced filter with harmonic filter for reducing harmonic in the circuit and resolving unbalanced load problem. This paper shows the results THD in the each stages of designed filters in presence of nonlinear load and imbalanced load in the electrical power system wiith MATLAB/SIMULINK that It is observed from the results of simulation  that   the   total harmonic  reduction  and compensation of reactive power  for  voltage  waveform and balancing for imbalanced load  is improved by combination of  two filters the circuit.
