Representation of Death in Khayyam’s Rubaiyat

The focus of this research paper is to analyze Khayyam Rubaiyat to trace the representation of death. 60 quatrains in Rubaiyat are about death. These 60 quatrains are based on universal theme of death. The present research is beneficial to get a thorough understanding of the structure and stylistics of Khayyam’s Rubaiyat. Moreover the present study focuses on the deep philosophy of Khayyam in a way to capture his identity and his philosophy about death. Stylistics analysis is done by poetic devices and themes. The researcher focuses on how Khayyam has represented death and the philosophy of death through these 60 quatrains.
