The survey of Mahrieh significance in Islam’s religion and law

چکیده مقاله

Marriage is the cause of the human generation propagation and abundance and it brings about conditions for the mankind persistence and continuity in the universe and there is no doubt that in sanctioning the marriage by the almighty God, like any other divine canonization, there are great wisdoms concealed. The marriage rules and details and the conditions related thereto provide for legitimate relationships among the human beings which besides setting the ground for the mankind generation establishment on earth, distinguish and separate the human beings from performing animal relationships. Mahrieh has been determined to overtly express the importance of the marriage contract, revering and venerating the woman’s personality and remarking the man’s honesty and good will for his act of marriage with a woman and it has to be considered as the premise upon which the marital life and association finds stability and strength and it should not be recounted as something like the wife’s price. The present study deals with the survey of the importance given to Mahrieh in Islam religion and the civil law.
