The review on legal obligations of EU versus Syrian Asylum-seekers according to criteria of Human Rights

The crisis of Syrian refugees has provided several topics regarding rights of vagabonds and refugees in documents of human rights during recent years. To arrive at borders of European countries and closed boundaries of European nations to the refugees and many problems for refuge-seekers in territory of European countries were followed by this basic question that what it was the position of asylum seeking in human rights law and what were the obligations for European Union (EU) concerning rights of refugees? The research findings showed that seeking asylum has been emphasized as a right in criteria of human rights. Based on world declaration of human rights, any person has right to seek asylum from other nations and enjoy it against annoyance. Similarly, Geneva Convention IV about protection from civilians at time of war (1949) confirms in support from refugees. Moreover, Convention of situation of refugees (1951) constitutes basis for international law regarding refugees including definition of refugee and the minimum criterion for treating with refugees. Likewise, one can refer to protocol 1967 about situation of refugees and resolutions of UN General Assembly in this sense. Observance of criteria of human rights is one of the principles emphasized in EU.
