چکیده مقاله
Abstract
Iron ore fines are agglomerated in the sintering process to produce sinter. This way is an important feed material for blast furnaces worldwide. In this paper effect of adding iron ore concentrate to Choghart iron sintering is investigated. Pot tests were performed and the results showed it is advantageous to increase the Fe content of the sinter ore, but the productivities are generally lower, so it should be depended on the practical sintering production. Also it is advantageous for sinter ore to increase the tumbler index by adding the iron ore concentrate to the mixture during the sintering process, but the sinter productivity is a bit lower
