چکیده مقاله
In this research, a framework utilizing bond graph approach is proposed for fault detection of one-stage gearbox system. A twelve degrees of freedom gearbox unit is used as the prototype system. In this system a crack was imposed on one tooth of the spur gears with three different sizes. To develop an appropriate fault detection framework a complete three-dimensional dynamic model of the system under investigation was derived using bond graph approach. In the proposed model, crack growth issue and gyroscopic effect were included. The status of the tooth deterioration can be calculated mainly by introducing the reduction in the time-varying gear mesh stiffness. In order to get better insight into the fault status the mesh stiffness effect on the output dynamic response was considered. The governing equations of motion were implemented using block-oriented utilities of MATLAB software to run simulation study. The effects of mesh stiffness, gyroscopic effect and crack size on the displacement of pinion in a specific direction are carried out as the result of simulation during practical conditions of operation.
