Evaluation of intellectual capital with an environmental emphasis on organizational capital (case Study: Meli Bank in Mazandaran Province, Iran)

In a contemporary business environment, intellectual capital is considered as the most critical strategic asset for the success of the organization. Intellectual capital is a life blood of the high-tech and knowledge intensive organizations. Banking sector is considered as a knowledge intensive segment. Therefore, there is a great need to nourish the concept and applications of intellectual capital in banking sector.
In the knowledge-based economy, product and organizations live and die based on knowledge and the most successful organizations, are those that use from this intangibility asset better and faster. Studies have shown that unlike efficiency decreasing of traditional sources (e.g. money, land, machinery and etc.), knowledge truly is a resource to improve business performance. From a strategic perspective, today, use of knowledge and intellectual capital to create and enhance organizational value and the success of organization depends on to its ability to manage this rare source. In this study will be evaluate the role of knowledge management and intellectual capital with considering the variable called environmental capital on competitive advantage.
