چکیده مقاله
Objective: The study is designed to compare the effects of contextual interference on acquisition and retention of older and younger groups were designed golf Pot shock. Methods: The subjects were 30 young and 30 elderly which randomly were divided into groups to Blocked or random. Subjects practiced for 6 sessions of two main task golf with random and block sequences. First and end of the acquisition and retention time were evaluated information about the performance of the subjects in Pot golf skills. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance single factor. Results: At the end of the acquisition, block group rated was higher than random groups in elderly group (p< 0/05). In the retention phase, two groups of elderly were not significant differences in terms of block and random retention, but were better the younger group rating in terms of block and random retention and generally youth group in the acquisition and retention was higher than in elderly. Conclusion: contextual interference effect on learning motor skills is dependent the complexity of the task and the trainee age
