چکیده مقاله

Due to the multiple economic and environmental advantages of the microgrid, many technical challenges, including control, protection and power management exist for them. One of the important technical aspects of the microgrid is protection of distribution system. The purpose of this paper is to review protection schemes in the Grid-connected and islanding mode and finally to provide guidelines for the realization of the performance of the electric power distribution network in IRAN. In this context, advantages and disadvantages of each issue is described, analyzed and discussed.
