Study the Impact of Applying the Fluctuation Limit of Stock Price and Base Volume in Tehran Stock Exchange

Researchers have different opinions on the effects of applying the fluctuation limit of stock price and yet in conducted research, positive or negative effects arising from fluctuation limit of stock price has not been established conclusively and in this context, there is no unified theory.
Supporters of stock price fluctuation claim that imposing these restrictions reduced the fluctuation limit of stock prices, coped the excessive reaction of the shareholders and not involved in transactions. While critics claim that the fluctuation limit of stock price leads to more fluctuation in stock prices in the coming days (theory of transfering the fluctuations in the coming days) and prevented equilibrium level of stock prices (hypothesis of intervention in achieving the real price).
In this study, we tried to carry out similar studies that are done in other countries and mention the positive or negative effects of fluctuation limit and perform statistical tests to examine these effects. Statistical analysis on a period of one year showed that the fluctuation limit of stock price causes the transmission of fluctuations in the coming days and a delay in the actual price of the Stock Exchange of Iran
