Ranking of Drivers Affecting Green Supply Chain Management Implimentation in Manufacturing Industry by Fuzzy Topsis Technique

Green supply chain management (GSCM) is one of the corporate environmental management that has been adopted by among manufacturing firms. It intends to reduce or minimize negative environmental impacts.the ranking of drivers is essential as high-priority drivers can be taken up first to address the issue more effectively within the available resources.The ranking become more vital for emerging countries because of limited recourses.This paper aims identifying and ranking drivers to GSCM implimentation .A fuzzy TOPSIS multicriteria decision model has been developed to rank these drivers from legislations , organizational style,eco knowledge,business enviroment,society influences, financial incentives,innovation.The study concluded 38 drivers that voluntary GSCM regulations and standard(e.g. ISO 14000and eco labelling),industrial sectors initiatives for GSCM,business to business pressure from larger organizations towards GSCM,financial incentives or penalties from the goverment (e.g. tax,rebate,soft loan)for GSCM and good community and employee relations suppotrtive of GSCM are five most important drivers to GSCM.The ranking of the drivers from different factors is expected to help the decision/policy makers in goverment and industry to develop these drivers in an effective manner.
