Studying comparison of separation of cobalt and cadmium by surface adsorption method by nanographene absorbent from effluent

چکیده مقاله

One of the most dangerous contaminations is the one with heavy metals. Heavy metals are stable contaminants that lead to biomagnification in the food chain and due to this process; their amount gets so many times more than their amount in water or air. Heavy element after entering water ecosystems accumulate in tissues and organs of sea animals and eventually enters the aquatic food chain. In any industrial plant or even in domestic consumption, in which water is used, some part of it should for sure get out of the intended the cycle which is known as effluent. Effluents are generally divided into urban wastewater and industrial wastewater categories. Industrial wastewater has a complex mix, which are unknown in some cases. However, what is in question is whether this waste is not of any use and must be discarded out of the process cycle? Absolutely no In this study, the separation and comparison of removal of cadmium and cobalt as two heavy metals from industrial wastewater using nanographene is discussed. To study the behavior of adsorbents in the removal of contaminants and to plot adsorption isotherms according to various studies in various articles several laboratory methods are used. Most of these methods include the test in Batch mode. To measure the amount of pollutants in the solution, atomic absorption spectrometry was used. The results showed that optimized alkali environment for the absorbent has been 10. In studying the warm effect of the absorbent on the percent of absorption, it was observed that the use nanographene has great adsorption power to remove pollutants.
