Increasing Fault tolerance by means of Ant Routing Algorithm to replace the damaged node in Network-on-Chip (NoC)

Emergence of network on chip technologies has worsened the issues related to the reliability in chip connections. Specifically, single disturbance events such as software and hardware transform to a requirement which must be considered. This complicated process specifies the significance of analysis of these errors of reliability, which it is required to take comprehensive protective actions in NOC designs. In this article, Increasing Fault tolerance by means of Ant Routing Algorithm to replace the damaged node in Network-on-Chip (NoC) is examined and comprehensive actions are developed to avoid and improve these issues. In this regards, we propose several modern designs to repair symptoms of several types of soft error.
