چکیده مقاله
In order to reduce the viscosity of the heavy crude, it is suggested to mix it with water and optimum emulsifiers to create a lower viscous fluid, oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions. In this study,O/W emulsion prepared by using the constant oil content of the emulsion at its optimum value 63.68 wt%, the other conditions were a temperature of 65 ◦C, pH of 2,a mixing speed of4200rpm and a mixing duration of 10min. The concentration of bioemulsifier in water was varied from 0.66 to1.1wt% and The concentration of chemical emulsifier was between 0,22 to 1.056 wt%. These emulsions were tested for relative rates of percent of bioemulsifier and emulsifier, viscosity of Brookfield viscometer. viscosity of heavy crud oil reduce 80% and use of biological emulsifier instead of chemical emulsifier is an environmentally-friendly approach which has the potential to increase emulsion stability to several days.
