Handover Method Improvement in Wireless Devices Using the Smart Algorithm in Software-defined Networking

The handover technology in wireless networks takes place when the mobile device changes its position from the communication base A to the communication base B. This is occurred by the capability of movement of the wireless devices such as cellphones or smart cars when we move from the coverage of the station A to that of the station B. Moreover, by increasing the cellular network subscribers, one of the serious challenges for the service providers is to transfer data with the minimum delay. Hence, eliminating the handover delay in these networks when real-time data transfer may be one of the appropriate strategies to provide better service quality and consequently the customers’ satisfaction. Using software-defined networking and by the help of Kalman Filter as well as the Dual Antenna technology, in this paper we have suggested a new algorithm that is the solution of the delay challenge in handover. The obtained results bring us data transfer without delay and data loss in handover.
